went to foursquare gospel in hanover on wilson avenue this morning.   awesome awesome awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!   i really liked it. obviously  but no, i mean it was so comfy and people were friendly w/out being overly in your face.  the message was really good except that it was someone else speaking other than the regular pastor.  but that pretty much ensures that i'll go back so i can hear him speak.  so anyway, i'm not saying i'm ready to make a decision and make this my home church yet.  i need to think and pray and seek gods direction first but i definitely will try it a few more times and go back.  i think i just said that backwards but u all know what i mean. oh and a really big plus was both children went to the toddlers room and didn't fuss one bit.  stayed the entire time.  thats a big deal!!!!!!!!!!! 

some things mentioned in the service were:

we need to not only believe in god but trust him also.  anyone can believe in god.  even the demons in hell believe in god.  we need to make sure we're being different than that. 

god wants to use us to make the world jealous.  to make them want what we have

when you pray,  don't whine.  pray in power!!!!!!!!!

after the sermon was over and it was prayer time.  i went up front and recieved prayer for mike, myself and the children.  it was incredible.  i've never felt the holy spirit so powerfully.  it almost put me on my knees.  it was a shock to me cause i've always felt like i wasn't that kind of person.  but god is definitely powerful.  if i ever doubted before,  i have faith now.
